I don’t even know where to begin because WOW — Jesica and Josefina absolutely crushed it. From the moment we started working together, these lovely ladies made everything feel so fun, easy, and completely stress-free (which is saying a lot considering we had NO clue what we were doing!)
Jesica and Josefina were so friendly — the kind of people you instantly feel comfortable around, like you’ve known them forever. They hyped us up, were incredibly helpful, and honestly felt more like friends than strangers! They took tons of beautiful pictures, and managed to capture every laugh, every awkward affection and every little in-between moment that are perfect to keep forever!! Not to mention the results are just BEYOND phenomenal — I seriously never thought I’d be able to get such gorgeous photos!!

Josefina & Jesica met us on the Isla Mujeres to do a photo shoot for our family. I requested them because we were impressed with the quality and style of the photos in their gallery of photos. When we met them, we were instantly comfortable with them.
They guided us throughout the photo shoot and were so easy to be with. We knew the photos would be good just by their confidence and ease of their photo taking.
Once we got the photos, we all were so excited and extremely happy with how they turned out. They really did a great professional job and we will cherish these photos for many years.

My family of parents and adult children took a trip to Isla Mujeres in January, and my mom prioritized the idea of updating our family portraits. After browsing photographers, we took our chance with Josefina & Jesica (Lumina Wedding Studio). They photographed my family on what turned out to be the cloudiest evening of our vacation but still captured the most magical photos at the beautiful Punta Sur location. They did an excellent job making us feel comfortable posing, which often feels quite unnatural, and photographed more than expected to ensure we had photos of various combinations of family members. They also captured the sweetest portraits of my boyfriend and I and did a great job incorporating him appropriately into some of our family shots. We received the portfolio promptly so we were able to enjoy the photographs shortly after our trip concluded. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience with Lumina Wedding Studio, and we would recommend their work to others visiting Isla Mujeres or local coastal Mexico.

I met the girls by chance. I was looking for an Argentinian photographer for my dad’s surprise wedding in Cancún, and several people recommended them to me.

Josefina and Jesica shot our wedding back in 2023 and they were FABULOUS! They made us feel so comfortable.
